On the 11th of March 2020, NHS Blood and Transplant (NHSBT) launched the third round of the Community Investment Scheme. Funded by the Department of Health and Social Care, the programme aims to engage Black, Asian, Mixed heritage and Minority ethnic communities in blood and organ donation.
Action On Blood, was one of the 35 projects that won funding for its project – Social Impact “Nollywood” Movie – under the scheme. This is the 2nd time we have won funding through this scheme and are very happy to have the opportunity to get involved again.
Another of our members also won funding again and we will be supporting them with their project.
